Package Overview
Spiti Valley is not a destination — it is a transformation. This 11-day odyssey takes you through high-altitude passes, across lunar landscapes carved by ancient glaciers, past stone monasteries perched impossibly on clifftops, and finally to the otherworldly Chandratal Lake at 14,100 ft. Travel in specially equipped 4WD vehicles, stay in boutique eco-camps and handpicked guesthouses, and spend nights under the clearest skies you've ever seen — no light pollution, just a billion stars.

FAQs
Is Spiti suitable for beginners?
Spiti is rated challenging due to altitude (12,500–15,000 ft), rough roads, and basic amenities. It's ideal for adventure seekers who are physically fit. No prior trekking experience needed — but do consult your doctor if you have cardiac or respiratory conditions.
What is the best time to visit Spiti Valley?
Mid-June to mid-October is the only window when Spiti is fully accessible by road from both Shimla and Manali side. July–August is peak season. Chandratal is only accessible June to October.
Is altitude sickness a concern?
Yes. Kaza sits at 12,500 ft and Kibber at 14,200 ft. We pace the itinerary for gradual acclimatisation, carry Diamox and oxygen cylinders, and have protocols for emergency descent. We've never had a serious altitude emergency in 15 years.
Is mobile network available in Spiti?
BSNL network (patchy) is available in Kaza and some villages. Most areas have no connectivity. This is part of the experience! We carry satellite communicators for emergencies.
