FAQs
What is the best time to visit Jim Corbett?
October–June is the main season. November–February is ideal for tigers and leopards. April–June is hot but tiger sightings are highest near water. The park partially closes July–September (monsoon).
Is a tiger sighting guaranteed?
No wildlife encounter can be guaranteed — and that is what makes it wild. However, Corbett has one of India's highest tiger densities. Our naturalists know the terrain exceptionally well and our sighting rates are very high.
What zones are open year-round?
Jhirna and Durga Devi zones are open year-round. Dhikala and Bijrani close during monsoon. We plan your safaris based on the season and latest zone permits.
Is Corbett suitable for children?
Absolutely — it's one of India's best family wildlife experiences. Children must be 5+ years for open jeep safaris. Canter safaris are enclosed and suitable for all ages.
